Consumers Union Safe Patient Summit

Exposing the patient harm from failed implanted devices with the purpose of enhancing patient safety is the subject of my presentation (pictured above).  Consumers Union patient advocates are meeting in Yonkers, NY to exchange information and to support one another.  We were welcomed by Consumer Reports President & CEO Jim Guest.  Dr. John Santa discussed the Consumer Reports Health Ratings Center.  Dr. Marty Makary, the author of "Unaccountable" shared his thoughts with us.  Three days of strategy sessions and skills training elevate our mission to substantially improve patient safety.
